Having moved from Florida to California, I felt quite out of place at times, not knowing many people nor having a sense of family. Chabad at SMC quickly filled this void, due to the incredible warm and welcoming spirit of Rabbi Eli and Mirel, not only did I gain immense wisdom regarding Judaism through weekly classes, and Shabbat dinners, but I also gained a family. I am so grateful for all that Chabad does for the students at SMC.

Chabad at SMC is allot of things to me. A hot meal, a place to learn, a place to meet people. But above all, Chabad is home. A place with no judgement or expectations, just your family willing to do everything it can to help.

Rabbi Eli, Mirel and family, truly embody the best of Jewish leadership and I hope you will consider supporting Chabad at SMC so they can continue providing a place for all Jews to connect— regardless of observance level, beliefs, income, or age.
